Canopy Cover Calculations
(For Cornwall Residential sites of over 0.5 ha or 9 or more dwellings, or Commercial sites of 1000m2 or greater than 1 ha)
Cornwall Council Climate Emergency DPD: Natural Climate Solutions Canopy Policy G3, now requires larger development sites to have a least 15% of the total area covered with tree, shrub or hedge canopy. This can be either existing canopy or new canopy provided by additional planting.
Wildwood Trees can carry out all the necessary Canopy Cover Calculations to show how your site can comply with the policy.
